Our reproductive systems are the best that Nature can provide for producing babies. Unfortunately, these systems can go wrong, possibly resulting in infertility and severe pain.
Common western medicines to treat these problems may have a rapid effect but frequently cause undesirable side-effects. Surgical interventions can be hazardous and may need to be repeated. People are increasingly looking towards natural alternative treatments, such as traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs) in order to relieve symptoms and address the root causes.

A common cause of severe pelvic pain and infertility in women is endometriosis. The endometrium is the inner lining of the uterus. It comprises two layers. The basal layer is permanent. During the early part of the menstrual cycle a functional layer develops in preparation for the implantation and development of the embryo. If no pregnancy occurs, the functional layer is discarded through menstruation. The menstrual flow from a healthy uterus is simply the shedding of this thin layer of blood-rich tissue and no actual bleeding occurs.
Endometriosis is a disease in which endometrial tissue forms outside the uterus. The parts affected are often the ovaries and fallopian tubes, but they can be almost anywhere in the abdomen. Unlike the uterus, these body parts are not suited to the routine shedding of the functional layer. As a result extensive bleeding and scarring can result.
Endometriosis is believed to affect up to 10% of women, with some 25% of them exhibiting no obvious symptoms. The most common symptoms are pelvic pain and infertility. If endometriosis occurs in the fallopian tubes, they will be blocked. It is then impossible for an ovum (egg) to be fertilized and implant in the endometrium of the uterus.
A number of possible treatments for endometriosis, blocked fallopian tubes and consequent infertility are available. These include the Fuyan Pill, a patented mix of TCM herbal ingredients that is used as a treatment for various gynecological ailments. The Fuyan Pill was developed at Wuhan Dr Lee's Clinic.
Dr Lee is also the creator of Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill, another patented TCM for combatting various infections and inflammations of the male urogenital system, including prostatitis and chlamydia infections. Pathogens, such as bacteria, do not appear to develop resistance to TCMs in the way they do to western antibiotics. It may well be that some ancient medicines provide the safest and most effective modern treatment.
