If you are man that suffers from pain in the perineum; area between scrotum and anus; difficult, frequent, or burning urination; decreased libido, painful ejaculation, you have to recognize more about alternative medicine therapies for the chronic prostatitis. Many doctors and medical professionals all over the globe effectively have used non-drug, natural treatments of chronic prostatitis for hundreds of years.
Due to complex structure of the prostate, its position inside the pelvis, surrounding by plenty nerves and muscles, association with the urinary, reproductive and endocrine systems, the treatment of the chronic prostate inflammation is a very difficult job.

Working as an MD in Europe and as a holistic practitioner in the U.S, I developed unique Biotherapy healing program combining medical procedures such as therapeutic prostate massage and physical therapy with acupuncture, herbs, diet, enemas, relaxation, exercises and nutritional supplements.
The first symptom of prostatitis may be a pain. A second sign may be difficulties with urination and third could be problems with the reproduction. I described the fourth symptom of chronic prostatitis as an anxious behavior. During my long time practice, I have never seen men with chronic prostatitis without having anxiety, panic attack, depression, insomnia, addictions, problems with relationships, etc.
The medical research showed that as many as of all adult males have during their life time the problems with the prostate. The increased risk of prostate cancer after prostatitis is also a big concern.
If the signs of prostatitis remain for more than three months, it is going to a chronic condition. Often after the first attack it can be hidden until the prostate has congested enough to cause symptoms, such as discomfort, spasms and pain in the lower back or in the low abdomen area, testicles, or perineum. Regularly, the pain accompanies with the frequent, difficult or burning urination.
By my opinion, widespread of the chronic pancreatitis is closely related to the epidemic of the chronic urinal tract infections and STDs such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonas, or other infections from the commonly-present bacteria from the rectum or vagina. A man may forget that many years ago he had the symptoms and took penicillin for that, but his prostate is not.
Prostatitis may be quiet for many years and then flare up for several reasons, such as the lessening immunity due to viral infection or Candida-yeast overgrowth after antibiotics or hormone use, deficiencies of the essential nutrients such as zinc, vitamins. Cold, flu, long sitting, long driving and riding the bike, vigorous exercises may trigger exacerbation, as well.
The typical treatment for chronic prostate inflammation with antibiotics is frequently hard, as a result of the poor movement of most antibiotics into the prostate fluid. Congested prostate fluid remains in a numerous of tiny microscopic sacs and ducts. Furthermore, after repetitive rounds of antibiotics, infection in the prostate fluid can be transformed to fungal or yeast.
Antibiotics eliminate beneficial intestinal bacteria. It leads to the various symptoms, which are very far from the prostate. At the present time, researchers and doctors realize that beneficial intestinal bacteria are strictly involved with good digestion, immunity, metabolism, hormones, and brain function.
When antibiotics do not work, and Candida-yeast overgrows in the prostate and whole body, doctors call these disorders as the chronic pelvic pain syndromes or non-bacterial chronic prostatitis. Here, the therapeutic tactic of the conventional medicine is currently very narrow.
There is no the “silver bullet” for chronic prostatitis because it is extremely complicated problem; thus, the healing actions have to be done to:
- Release the infected, congested fluid by opening the prostate ducts
- Improve the micro circulation in the prostate
3. Diminish infection, inflammation and scarring of the prostate
4. Reduce pelvic pain and muscle spasms
5. Normalize the acid-alkaline balance
6. Restore the beneficial intestinal bacteria, which are destroyed by antibiotics
7. Defeat the Candida-yeast overgrowth
8. Supply the body with essential nutrients for prostate health
9. Lessen the anxious behavior, stress, anxiety, mood swings, improve the night sleep, libido, sex, and fertility
Let me focus on some alternative medicine treatments.
Acupuncture and its non-needle variants – electro puncture, magnet therapy, vibro-magnetic massage, and suction cups are used for pain control, improving prostate micro circulation and urination, increasing immunity, and relieving stress and anxiety.
Therapeutic prostate massage is an ongoing of the digital rectal examination (DRE). During DRE, a specialist can figure out the size, texture, shape, hardens, and sensitiveness of prostate or reveal spasms of the pelvic muscles. Before therapeutic prostate, massage, man will be asked to test PSA (prostate-specific antigen). Therapeutic prostate massage, accompanied by massage of the pelvic muscles eliminates blockages while encouraging the free flow of blood and energy.
Herbs, which contain anti-microbial, anti-fungal properties, can decrease infection and inflammation, improve urine flow, improve reproductive function, and raise libido.
Nutritional supplementation by using vitamins, minerals, trace elements, amino acids, essential fatty acids can decrease inflammation and congestion, boost the immune system, promote shrinking, and enhance performance.
Drinking Karlovy Vary healing mineral water helps to eliminate the infection, and Candida-yeast, normalizes acid-alkaline balance. Drinking of this water in any chronic UTI has a long healing tradition in the Europe.
The huge problem is that typical treatment with broad-spectrum antibiotics wipes out the beneficial intestinal bacteria. Restoration of the friendly intestinal flora by using effective probiotics and colon hydrotherapy is an important part of the healing program for chronic prostate inflammation.
I mentioned that anxious behavior is common in men with prostatitis. Besides acupuncture, magnets and herbs, I widely use relaxation, hypnosis and custom hypnosis-CD that can be listened at home.
By my decades of the experience, I strongly believe that combination of the medical procedures with non-drug methods of the alternative medicine is a right solution for the chronic prostatitis.
